After more than 10 years living together, I still have to adapt to the idea that my husband doesn’t read my mind! Which means, the fact that I say something, does not imply that he understands my purpose or, even worse, what I want.
One of my friends once told me: “a los hombres, todo con nombre y apellido” which means, do not assume that your boyfriend/husband/partner will guess what you want: BE SPECIFIC!
“What is obvious to you is obvious to you”, Dr. Medina on his book Brain Rules for Baby. Your point of view, your vision of the situation, your purpose… is only that, your side of the story. Give him the opportunity to know it, and give you also the opportunity to know his.
What Mel Gibson does in What Women Want only happens in the movies, éh!
Any thoughts?
PS: Share this with any woman you know 🙂
